How did you get your start in the building industry?
I am a second-generation builder and learned how to build from my father.
What inspires and influences your work?
Treating my clients the way I would want to be treated.
How would you describe your build style?
I have a hands-on and involved build style from design to completion. I understand all of the steps in building a home, and I am often referred to as a “design-sensitive builder” by architects.
What do you wish others knew about your company?
Our many years in the building business have made us extremely valuable to our clients. Most subcontractors prefer to work for us because of our understanding of all aspects of building.
Why do you think your clients choose you as their builder?
My direct involvement and knowledge in the building process are important factors. I also meet with clients on a weekly basis to inform them of the choices and costs involved with building.
What makes you most proud to be a builder?
I’m proud of our many years of building fine homes and homes that have stood the test of time.
How do you bring a client’s vision to life?
I’m personally involved from the very first design meeting.
What are the most important elements of a successful build team?
Collaboration and trust between all parties are essential.
What are some of your favorite trends in new construction?
Expansive use of glass and mixing new and old.
How do you define an Artisan home?
