2024 SUMMER ARTISAN HOME TOUR $1000 SWEEPSTAKES OFFICIAL RULES
HOW TO ENTER: No purchase necessary. Sweepstakes starts June 7, 2024 at 12:00 am CST and ends June 23, 2024 at 11:59 pm CST.
To enter, hand print entry information on the entry form at the participating tour homes during tour hours (June 7-9, 14-16, & 21-23, 2024 from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm CT); or hand print your name, address, phone number and email on a sheet of paper and mail to: 2024 Summer Artisan Home Tour Prize Drawing, c/o Housing First Minnesota, 2960 Centre Pointe Drive, Roseville, Minnesota 55113. Mailed entries must be postmarked by 11:59 pm CT on June 23, 2024. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned. One entry per household only.
Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the sweepstakes in whole or in part and randomly select winner from among all eligible entries legitimately received prior to the cancellation, termination or modification. Notice of any cancellation, termination or modification will be posted on the tour Website (ArtisanHomeTour.org). Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering or attempting to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the sweepstakes or the Website, violating the Official Rules, or acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive matter, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND ALL OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Entry data that have been tampered with or altered are void.
ELIGIBILITY: Any legal U.S. resident, at least 18 years of age, and residing in Minnesota or Wisconsin at time of entry is eligible to enter. Employees and directors of Housing First Minnesota (and its members and subcontractors) (together, “Sponsor”) and marketing agencies of the preceding entities and others involved in the creation, production or execution of this Sweepstakes and their respective family (spouses, parents, siblings and children and their spouses) and household members are not eligible to enter.
GENERAL: This Sweepstakes is subject to all laws and void where prohibited. No prize substitutions or prize transfers permitted. Winners will be solely responsible for all applicable taxes and surcharges on prizes. Winner may receive an IRS Form 1099 for the full approximate retail value of their prize as stated in these rules, whether or not they actually use the entire prize. All other expenses related to the receipt and use of the prize not specifically mentioned herein are the sole responsibility of the winner. All or any portion of a prize not accepted or used by winner will be forfeited.
DRAWING: One winner will be randomly selected from among all eligible entries received on or before July 1, 2024. Odds of winning are solely dependent upon the total number of entries received.
PRIZES: Prize winner will receive a cash prize of $1,000.
CONDUCT: By entering this Sweepstakes, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the judges that shall be final and binding in all respects. Failure to comply with these Official Rules may result in disqualification. Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual found to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or the Sponsors’ web site; or to be acting in any manner Sponsor deems to be in violation of the Official Rules; or to be acting in any manner it deems to be unsportsmanlike or disruptive, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. Any attempt to deliberately damage the web site or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes is a violation of criminal and civil laws.
GENERAL: By participating, entrants agree (a) to the Official Rules and to the decisions of the Sponsor and judges, which shall be final in all respects; (b) to release and hold Sponsor, its parent, subsidiaries and other affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies, prize providers, promotion partners and their respective directors, agents and employees harmless from all liability, loss, personal injury or death, or damage to reputation or of any kind attributable in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, to their participation in the sweepstakes or their acceptance and/or use of a prize or travel to or from or participation in any prize-related activity; and (c) if a winner, to Sponsor’s unrestricted use in all media of winner’s name, voice, likeness and state of residence for advertising and promotional purposes, without additional compensation, or right of review or approval. Any promotion materials including the offer or these Official Rules, which contain production, printing or typographical errors, or are obtained outside authorized or legitimate channels are void; and Sponsor’s liability, if any, is limited to the replacement of such materials. Recipients of such materials release Sponsor, prize providers, promotion partners and their parent, affiliated and subsidiary companies, the judging organization and their respective officers, directors, employees and agents from any and all losses, claims or damages that may result therefrom.
ARBITRATION/CHOICE OF LAW: Except where prohibited, participants agree that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this sweepstakes shall be resolved exclusively by arbitration pursuant to the Rules of the American Arbitration Association then effective, and any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred by participant with regard to this sweepstakes, but in no event attorneys’ fees, punitive, incidental, consequential or other damages. All issues and question concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of participants and Sponsor and/or Sponsor’s agencies in connection with the sweepstakes shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard for conflicts of law doctrine, and all proceedings shall take place in Ramsey County, Minnesota.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: Sponsor assumes no responsibility or liability for (a) any incorrect or inaccurate entry information, or for any faulty, failed, garbled or jumbled electronic data transmissions; (b) any unauthorized access to, or theft, destruction or alteration of entries at any point in the operation of this sweepstakes; (c) any technical malfunction, failure, error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or communications line failure, regardless of cause, with regard to any equipment, systems, networks, lines, satellites, servers, computers or providers utilized in any aspect of the operation of the sweepstakes, or (d) inaccessibility or unavailability of the Internet or the Sponsors’ web site or any combination thereof; (e) any injury or damage to participants or to any other person’s computer which may be related to or resulting from any attempt to participate in the Sweepstakes or download any materials in the sweepstakes. If, for any reason, the sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned for reasons which may include without limitation, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which may corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes in whole or in part. Sponsor and partners are not responsible for entry forms being unavailable at the homes in the tour.
WINNER NOTIFICATION: All potential winners will be notified by Phone, U.S. mail and/or e-mail at the telephone, e-mail, or postal address provided with the entry. Prize winners may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release within ten days of attempted prize notification. If a selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim or schedule the prize, or fails to return the information form or publicity/liability release, an alternative winner may be selected.
WINNER RELEASES: All entrants, as a condition of entry into the Sweepstakes, agree to release Sponsors, their respective parents, subsidiaries, divisions, affiliates, suppliers, printers, distributors and advertising, promotional or judging agencies, from and against any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages or losses to persons or property which may be sustained in connection with participating in any aspect of the Sweepstakes, the receipt, ownership or use of any prize awarded, any typographical or other error in these Official Rules and/or the announcement of offering of any prize. The winner shall bear all risk of loss or damage to their prize after they take delivery. Sponsors make no representations or warranties of any kind concerning the appearance, safety or performance of any prize. Except for where prohibited by law, winners grant to Sponsors the right to print, publish, broadcast and use worldwide in any media now known or hereinafter known each winner’s name, address, statement, picture or other likeness, without additional compensation, for public relations, advertising and promotional purposes.
