BohLand is the premier developer for luxury neighborhoods that are creative and sensitive to land use. BohLand is celebrating its 25th Anniversary, and has award winning experience in the Lake Minnetonka and the western metropolitan area. Today BohLand Development leads the luxury multi-family market by identifying the best locations, architectural style, and amenities in up-scale multi-family ownership.
The 58-unit Regatta Condominiums, now sold out, and the 30-unit condominiums in the Landing Hotel and Residences at the Promenade in Wayzata were inspired by the demand for those who wanted a lake lifestyle with easy walking to all that downtown Wayzata has to offer.
“We were surprised how quickly the Regatta took off,” said Steve Bohl. “Market conditions were strong for luxury, multi-family housing in the area, and most buyers have come from a five-mile radius of Wayzata. “We recognized that the market was even deeper and followed up by creating the Landing Residences.” We are now drawing from a further radius and attracting buyers from closer to downtown Minneapolis.
Not that is easy to give up the larger home lifestyle with its memories and amenities. “The interesting thing is that our buyers who were most hesitant to leave their larger property and are absolutely excited about their new lifestyle,” said Bohl. “Many also own other condominiums in warmer climates. Our clients are highly discerning about custom quality, craftsmanship and architectural details, and we provide superior service and creativity to meet their desires.”
The Landing Hotel & Residences is a mixed use, condominium, luxury boutique hotel, retail, event center, spa and two-story restaurant development that is opening May 2017. BohLand will own both the restaurant and the 92-room hotel, which is the only one of its kind in over 60 years close to Lake Minnetonka.
The Landing condominiums average about 2,500 sq. feet in size, and go up to 4,500 sq. feet for the largest unit.
“At the Regatta, people have created a neighborhood within a neighborhood. It’s really fun to see. The Landing will offer even more opportunities for fun and exciting things for people living in the Promenade.
Along with our buyers, we are very excited about opening next spring and enjoying all that Wayzata and Lake Minnetonka have to offer.
